With the maturing of LED technology, high lumen output led tube gradually become common to see, so market expect more for lower power but with much higher lumen output products.
In Sep. 2013, Japan lighting magnate Endo Lighting propose a LED tube with lumen efficiency of 140lm/W, which caused a burst of discussion and applause! Though the lumen efficiency of LED chip has been increased much in recent time, but such high lumen efficiency in LED tube also surprise many person.
Later about one month later, PVTECH from Xiamen China propose a LED tube with 145lm/W of lumen efficiency. This LED tube could be called artifacts in the LED industry.
It is easy to make high lumen efficiency when add LED chip quantities. But only reasonable structure design and high efficient driver combining together could realize such high lumen efficiency for LED tube. This also signifies that China mainland LED technology already exceed that of Taiwan and Korean, and get closer to That of Japan.
